All vehicles must be registered with the Facility Systems, Photo Identification & Parking Services Department and display a current NJIT permit to park in campus lots. Students can register their vehicles online. Faculty and staff can register for parking by mail or in person before the start of each semester.
NJIT/Rutgers Newark Transit
The shuttle bus is operated jointly with Rutgers-Newark and provides transportation for the university community between the two campuses. Major stops along the Newark Transit are Penn Station and Broad Street Station.
As a courtesy, shuttle service is free to Rutgers and NJIT students who present valid identification. Click here for schedules, routes, and maps.
