NJIT, designated by Carnegie Classification as a very high research activity university, is part of the nation’s most elite and productive universities. The application process for high school students is easy as NJIT is a member of the Common Application.
Transfer students can transfer credits completed at a regionally accredited institution provided they earned a “C” or better and the course material is similar to courses at NJIT. To make the registration process a seamless transition, we have an instant decision day every Thursday for incoming transfer students.
