Beware of Tuition Payment Scams
Scammers may approach you with offers to pay your tuition, usually in exchange for personal information or a "small fee." These offers are fraudulent and can lead to financial loss or identity theft.
Verify Unsolicited Offers: Any offer to pay your tuition should be approached with caution. Verify the legitimacy of such offers through official university channels before proceeding.
Official Payment Channels: Always use the university’s official payment system for your tuition fees. Be wary of requests to use alternative payment methods like wire transfers, gift cards, stolen credit cards or cryptocurrency.
Protect your username/Password: Do not share your username and password with anyone.
Welcome Parents/Guardians
Congratulations on your student entering the next phase of his/her life as an NJIT student. The transition from high school or another higher education institution can be stressful for both the student and the parent. We have created this page as a quick reference guide for your convenience, detailing important information you will need such as payment due dates, submission of health insurance waivers, setting up payment plans, etc.
Please be aware, all official communication is sent to the student's NJIT email and students should check it often for important information. Students can set up parents and guardians as Authorized Users to view important financial information on their student account, view billing information, make a payment, enroll in a payment plan, etc. Please click here for more information on how to be set up as an Authorized User.
